If you don't know who she is then you are missing out.
Mai is a character from the Fatal Fury(tm) game and anime series.
Mai first appered in Fatal Fury 2 joining Terry, Joe, and Andy
in their fight against Geese Howard. She has also appered in every
King of Fighters (tm) produced teamed up with King, a blond British
Mhuay Thai boxer, and Yuri, of Art of Fighting fame, in the first
two. In KoF '96 Yuri was replaced with Todo Kasumi, from Art of
Fighting 3, in '97 Kasumi took a hike and one of the bosses, Chizuru,
from '96 joined Mai and King. Mai is a kunoichi, which means female
ninja. Her fighting style is a variation of standard Shiranui
ryu ninjutsu, combining elements of traditional dance with her
fighting art.
Mai's personality is generealy lighthearted and playful.
Her capacity and desire for fun is only exceded by her ability
to consume vast quantaties of alchohol. For reasons unknown she
is hung up on another FF character, Andy Bogard. (.......there
aren't any adjectives derogatory enough to express my opinion
of this loser.) Mai trained with Andy as a child, when he was
studying koppojutstu (bonebreaking techniques) under Mai's grandfather
Shiranui Hanzo. Later Andy moved on to train with Yamada Jubei,
an eccentric (and excedingly sukube) Judo master, and Mai followed.
Despite the constant groping and peeping from Jubei, she does
seem pretty dead set on marrying Andy, and stays at the old man's
dojo just to be near him. However Andy seems to only have interest
in his fighting arts and seems more than a little obssesed with
defeating his brother Terry. My personal opinion of what should
happen to Andy is best expressed in the story I wrote,
